You Survived Your First Half Term!

Well done 7S. You made it. On the way you have learned about:
  • Climates
  • Map work
  • The Buddha
  • Castles
You have also developed some really important skills to help you survive as a learner:
  • Effective listening
  • Making decisions (Thinking Hats)
  • Organising information (mind maps)
  • Researching
  • Communicating
Good job! Don't forget to use the links on the right to brush up on some of these skills (The mapzone website is great fun for developing your map skills).

Next we are looking at Cornish Past. What would you like to know more about? Competition time! Who can come up with the most interesting question(s) about the past in Cornwall. Don't forget to leave your name.

I like your question Megan about "why did miners work down mines when it was so dangerous?" I'd be interested to know what you or others think about this - especially those who have relatives who have worked down mines.

DON'T FORGET TO ADD YOUR NAMES!!!!
