SURVIVAL

Some really nice comments about Tehidy 7S.

In the coming weeks this is what you have in store:
- Building a contour model of your island.
- The life of The Buddha (is being happy part of "survival?")
- Castles (where to place them, how to defend them and how to attack them).
- Your presentations. Your reading on the topic of survival.

Your homework this week:

As a class we are going to write to classes of students in Kenya and possibly South Africa fairly regularly. We will learn from each other about what it is like to live and learn in different parts of the world.

Homework:

Write a letter about yourself. You might want to use this frame to help you...

Dear friend

My name is...
I am __ years old.
I live in... (describe what it is like where we live, the weather, the coast, wildlife, housing etc...)

I go to Redruth school. My favourite subjects are... (explain what you study and why you like it).

In my spare time I like to...

You may want to include a picture of yourself or something you are interested in.

Yours faithfully

We will post these letters from school. They are to be given to Mr Beech on Monday 8th October.

SURVIVAL at Tehidy Country Park

Welcome to blogging 7S.

This is your area only. This is where we can record our thoughts and find links to great stuff on the internet that will help us in our fantastic journey of learning about this amazing world and the people in it (including you).

A couple of blogging rules:
  1. We say nice things about people in public...but no nasty comments.
  2. We only enter comments using our own names.

Why not add a comment on your thoughts about Tehidy? What did you like? What did you learn? What was frustrating (not WHO was frustrating)?

Happy Blogging.

Mr Beech
